Stewart House
(Australia)

With the support of the MCS Foundation, Stewart House annually welcomes 1,600 underprivileged students from across NSW and the ACT. During their 12-day stay, these children receive comprehensive care, including optometric, dental, and medical treatments, along with essential emotional support. This holistic approach is further enriched by health and educational programs, as well as extracurricular activities aimed at boosting their self-esteem and promoting healthier lifestyles.

For up to 10 days, the children attend a specialized onsite school, made possible through infrastructure and staffing provided by the NSW Department of Education. The costs of their stay, beyond the educational component, are entirely covered by generous charitable donations. The program is available to students in school years 2 through 8.

Outside school hours, qualified supervisors ensure the children’s well-being during evenings and weekends. From meals and accommodation to transportation and entertainment, as well as the salaries of supervisors, cooks, cleaners, and maintenance staff, all expenses are funded through donations to Stewart House.
